We stand behind our products 100%. We offer the following three-year limited warranty for our doors.
Wood Wonders LLC Three-Year Limited Warranty - Doors
All doors manufactured by Wood Wonders LLC, (except those doors expressly excluded at the time of sale), are warranted by Wood Wonders LLC to be free of manufacturing and material defects, warpage, and delamination, which would render said doors unserviceable or unfit for the ordinary recommended use for a period of three (3) years from manufacture date. Unsatisfactory service or appearance of doors caused by failure to comply with handling and finishing recommendations are not covered by this warranty. Purchaser must notify Wood Wonders LLC of any manufacturing and material defects within one (1) year from the date of manufacture completion date, and of any warpage and delamination claims within three (3) years from the completion date of the manufacture.
All visible defects or mistakes in shipment must be reported to Wood Wonders LLC before the product is installed or trimmed, otherwise product shall be deemed correct and / or acceptable.
Natural variations in the color, texture or grain of the wood are not to be considered defects. Wood Wonders LLC is not responsible for the appearance, quality, or effect of finishes applied by third parties.
REMEDIES FOR DEFECTIVE DOORS
If warranted doors are found to contain defects, the purchaser's remedies at Wood Wonders LLC's sole discretion are limited to: (1) repair defective door(s); or (2) furnish purchaser with replacement door(s). Wood Wonders LLC shall not be liable for the costs of freight, crating or taking down of defective door(s) or the hanging or finishing of replacement door(s).
WARPAGE AND DELAMINATION WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
The warpage warranty excludes the following:
- All doors not manufactured with stave core in the stiles and rails.
- All doors that are improperly hung.
- Warp for any door wider than 42" or taller than 96".
- Warp for any nominal 1 ¾" thick by 42" wide by 96" high or smaller door, not exceeding ¼" in the plane of the door itself.
- Bow or nonalignment in the frame or jamb in which the door is hung if such is purchased from Wood Wonders LLC un-machined and not pre-hung.
- Variations or unsatisfactory results in gloss level, texture or appearance resulting from the field application of paint, or any other finishing material.
- Natural variations in the color or texture of the wood.
- Damage caused by others or by any cause beyond the control of Wood Wonders LLC, including but no limited to damage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, mishandling, or by fire, flood, earthquake, storm, tornado, or other acts of nature.
- Misuse, abuse, negligence, normal wear and tear, alterations, exposure to the elements, disassembly, improper installation or improper storage or handling.
"Misuse" of a door includes, but is not limited to, using a door on a part of a building without providing adequate overhang or an appropriate finish color. Adequate overhang depends on the typical weather conditions of the area where the door is to be used, but typically means an overhang projecting a distance from the structure one half the elevation difference between the bottom of the door and the base of the overhang structure at the point which is farthest from the door. In order to reduce the chance of warping or checking, dark colored finishes should be avoided on all surfaces, especially on light colored wood species, or if the door is exposed to direct sunlight. Warp shall not be considered a defect unless it exceeds ¼ inch in the plane of the door itself. Wood Wonders LLC may defer action on any claim for warp for a period of up to one year from the date of claim, in order to permit conditioning and equalizing to humidity and temperature conditions.
The delamination and warpage warranty excludes the following:
- Any doors not properly sealed within 7 days of the crate being opened or 7 days from date of pickup. Doors must be sealed on all six surfaces: top, bottom, sides and faces. The same amount of coats must be applied to each surface.
- Any doors that have visible water stains, or moisture damage resulting from exposure to water.
- Any doors that have been installed in excessively hot/humid areas such as a greenhouse, sauna, next to a stove, fireplace or heater.
- Any doors that have been installed in areas where it is exposed to steam or constant water splashing, such as being close to a swimming pool, hot tub or sauna.
- Any doors that have damage from mishandling or abuse.
- Any designated interior doors used in an exterior application.
- The discoloration or rusting of decorative metal accent options, (Grilles, Clavois, Straps, etc.)
- Raised (hair-like) grain found on wire brushed surface.
- Damage due to trimming more than ½" from the top or ½" from the bottom.
- Damage caused by failure to comply with the Care, Handling, or Finishing instructions provided by Wood Wonders LLC: to include, but not limited to damage caused by failing to seal all six (6) sides of the door.
- Failure to perform normal homeowner's maintenance, including maintaining the finish (factory finish or non-factory finish).
- Product failure due to improper or incorrect installation.
- Attempts to repair products other than by Wood Wonders LLC.
- Panel movement (shrinkage) of ¼" or less. Temperature and humidity may cause the wood panels in your door to shrink, leaving and unstained line along the panel edge. The panels in your door have been designed to "float".
- Damage caused by extreme temperature buildup where a storm door is utilized. Storm doors must be vented to eliminate this temperature buildup.
- Slight expansion or contraction due to varying environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity.
- If the claimed non-conformity is warp, Wood Wonders LLC may defer repairing or replacing the product for a period of up to twelve (12) months for the date of claim or the date when the product was installed, as it is not uncommon for a temporary warp condition to occur as the door adjusts to humidity and temperature conditions. This deferral will not be counted against the warranty period.
MODIFICATION
No modification of warranty or other provisions in this agreement shall be binding unless in writing signed by an authorized officer of Wood Wonders LLC.

- Before finishing, remove all handling marks, fingerprints, etc., by sanding over all surfaces of the door using 180 or 220 grit sand paper.
